In this document, we’ll walk you through the Integration Settings of ChitChats Shipping PRO for WooCommerce. We’ll explain what each setting controls and when you might want to adjust them to best fit your shipping workflow.
Production Client ID #
You can find it on the Settings > Account page at https://chitchats.com/clients/
This information is required for the plugin to retrieve live shipping rates from your ChitChats account.
Production Access Token #
You can find it on the Settings > Account page at https://chitchats.com/clients/
This information is required in production mode for the plugin to retrieve live shipping rates from your ChitChats account.
Sandbox Client ID #
Please note that Sandbox Mode requires creating a separate account on a different site specifically for testing.
When starting the plugin, using Sandbox Mode allows you to create test orders and generate shipping labels at no cost. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with how the plugin and ChitChats work before switching to Production Mode to process real orders.
You can find the Sandbox Clident ID on the Settings > Account page at https://staging.chitchats.com/clients/
Sandbox Access Token #
The Sandbox token is required to enable the sandbox mode. You can find it on the Settings > Account page at https://staging.chitchats.com/clients/
VAT Reference #
If you are selling products to customers in the European Union (EU) or the United Kingdom (UK), please enter your VAT identification number.
Duties Paid (added in Oct 2025) #
If you are shipping products to customers in the United States, please note that under the new U.S. tariff policy, duties must be included when shipping orders.
When this feature is enabled, the duty cost will be automatically added to the shipping cost.
To comply with the new regulations and ensure accurate rates, please make sure this feature is enabled if you are shipping products to the USA.
Include Cross Border Delivery Fee (added in Oct 2025) #
Please ensure this option is enabled, as paying this fee is now required when using ChitChats services.
