How customers can track shipments?

In this document we will learn how customers can track shipments of WooCommerce shipping plugin.

Tracking shipments from the order email #

If Email Notifications feature has been enabled for some of the statuses in the settings of the shipping plugin, then customer is going to receive follow-up order detail emails, which will contain tracking information section with the tracking number and the status of the shipment.

Customers will be able to click on the tracking number to open carrier’s (shipping service) website with the latest tracking information.

Tracking shipments from My Account #

Customers will be able to track shipment in My Account -> Orders page and Tracking number will be displayed in the orders table.

It is possible to click on a Tracking number to open carrier’s (shipping service) website with the latest tracking information.

Order details page will have Tracking Information section added at the bottom of the page, that will display Postage Type, Tracking Number, Latest Tracking Status and Date.

Customers can click on Track button and current tracking history will be displayed under it.
