How ShipStation Rates Work in WooCommerce
There is no guessing and no flat-rate table. The plugin asks the carrier for a real price on the actual parcel, every time. Here is the path a quote takes:
- The buyer enters a shipping address at cart or checkout.
- The plugin packs the cart into the box sizes you defined, applying weight and packing rules.

It is still strange to me that the ShipStation plugin itself doesn’t support live rates, one of the most basic features of a shipping plugin.
