Real-time shipping rates

Based on the products in the cart, box dimensions they can fit into and address of the customer and store / vendor, it fetches real-time shipping rates and displays them on the cart, and checkout pages.

Customers can choose and checkout with any of the shipping methods offered by EasyPost.

In addition to live shipping rates our EasyPost plugin can also validate shipping address before allowing customers to place an order.

Show estimated delivery time of your shipments

Enable / disable displaying of estimated delivery time of your shipments and tracking type next to the shipping method name in the cart and checkout pages.

Dimension and weight based packing of the items into boxes

Configure dimensions, weight and max weight that boxes you use to ship orders can carry, so then plugin can use this information to precisely estimate shipping rates and reduce time you need to create shipments by predicting how order will be packed.

Combine boxes to reduce shipping rate

If products in the cart can’t fit into a single box, then plugin will split order into several boxes and calculate final shipping rate as a sum of shipping rates for the number of boxes required to fit all the items.

In order to save on shipping you can enable Combine Boxes feature that will let pluging know that you will attempt to find a bigger box that wasn’t previously configured in the system.

Flexible shipping weight adjustment rules

Configure how final weight of the parcel should be adjusted before plugin will fetch shipping rates from EasyPost. It is useful for cases when you add some promotional materials that increase weight of the package.

Flexible shipping rate adjustment rules

Configure how quoted shipping rates should be adjusted, which is useful if your store sells in a different currency or you just need to discount / increase shipping rates.

EasyPost Shipping PRO plugin lets you configure global or per shipping method rates adjustments.

Include Insurance and Request Signature service

Plugin allows to include insurance with the shipment and its fee will be added to the quoted shipping rate.

You can also request signature service for all or selected orders.

Display different name for selected shipping methods

Customize names of selected shipping methods in the configuration page of the plugin, so then cart and checkout pages will display this name instead of the original one.

Configurable automated tracking of the shipments

When auto tracking feature is enabled, then EasyPost Shipping plugin will pull updated shipment status and tracking history with configured interval.

Auto tracking feature has a number of settings that will let you get the best performance and frequency of updates.

Updated tracking information will be emailed to the customers as well as available on the website.

Create shipments and purchase shipping label

Get a quote, create unlimited number of shipments and purchase postage right from the order page in the admin area of your WooCommerce.

Plugin also allows you to cancel unpaid shipments, request refund for already purchased postage and see latest tracking information of the shipment.

Configurable purchase postage workflow

Choose what steps are required to purchase postage for your orders.

It is possible to configure plugin to require to get a quote, before shipment can be created or postage purchased as well as to require confirmation of the shipment details before continuing to next steps.

Purchase shipping label in a single click

With properly configured weight and dimensions of the products, and boxes you use to ship orders, plugin can precisely estimate dimensions and weight of the parcel, so in case of high volume of shipments it is possible to setup the workflow that will speed up operation of your warehouse by allowing to purchase shipping label in just one click.

Email notifications and easy access to tracking information

Upon purchasing of a shipping label customers will receive email notification with the tracking number associated with it, as well as email notifications every time shipment status will update.

Tracking number associated with the order and its current status is available in the orders page, and detailed tracking history can be viewed at the order page in Admin and User interfaces.

Ability to run it in sandbox and debug modes

Plugin can be set to sandbox mode, so you can test creation of the shipping label without paying for it.

In cases when things might not work exactly as expected, it is possible to enable debug mode which will display detailed messages explaning what is going on and what data are used, so you can easily narrow down the issue.

We previously used a different shipping aggregator than EasyPost. That service cost nearly $100 per month and operated separately from WooCommerce. We also had a Zapier integration and thus were using the WooCommerce API. Using the 1TeamSoftware EasyPost plugin for WooCommerce has allowed us to replace the previous service with EasyPost and save the nearly $100/month as well as eliminate the Zapier integration and the need to use the WooCommerce API. We now do all order fulfillment from within WooCommerce, and our customers receive emails with a link to the beautiful EasyPost tracking page at each stage of the delivery process. We started with the $15/month plan to test things out, and we submitted quite a few questions during our implementation. 1TeamSoftware was very responsive with replies to our questions, and their replies were very helpful. We are now very happy users of this plugin and have purchased the annual plan.

In the beginning I found this plugin difficult and somewhat confusing. Now that I’ve gotten the hang of it all is well and I really like it. Everything works great and I’m very pleased. Before I’d used Woocommerce’s shipping pluggin and two others as well. None of them worked well. Thank God I finally found a good one! Thanks.

This plugin is better than the Elex, Plugin Hive or Woocommerce. Sill, it’s not perfect.
Several things to know… Fedex does not function properly and I’ve not received the help I asked for in this regard. Seems like they’ve thrown in the towel on it. Luckily, Fedex is not a requirement for me. It would be nice to have it as an option though but it simply doesn’t work well.

The other problems I had with it have worked themselves out… completely due to my messing around and experimenting. (In the beginning the plugin was not functioning at all and I was told that it was because I didn’t have it turned on. lol This was definitely not the case. So don’t expect to get the best customer service.)

It’s not always easy to understand the wording in the plugin (they need a translator to help them) and the steps required to create a label. As an example, for some reason you have to engage the label first and then “purchase postage”. To me, purchase postage means to buy postage for your account through your bank (yes, you actually can do this with the Woocommerce shipping plugin.) This is NOT the case with this plugin. It’s part of the transaction of buying a label. ??? With other plugins you just click one button and the transaction is DONE so I have no idea why all these extra steps are required.

I think this plugin is almost too overthought. It’s got so much stuff I’ll never use and is just clutter. Still, now that I’ve got it set up, IT DOES WORK and that’s what matters. Elex FAILED for UPS calculations miserably. Woocommerce also FAILED even after working with techs for months to try to fix the problems I was having.

So if you want a Woocommerce shipping plugin that works, (except for Fedex) this is it. Unfortunately, the setup is sort of cumbersome and excessive and not easy to understand. (Even after watching the video – they need a better one.) It’s definitely different than any of the others I’ve tried but like I said, IT WORKS and that’s the most important part and why I give it 4 stars.

  We would like to respond to a few items in your feedback:
  Fedex does not function properly and I’ve not received the help I asked for in this regard. Seems like they’ve thrown in the towel on it.
  Did you use our contact form to request support or direct email or one of our employees?
  If you have not used our contact form then there is a big chance that email thread can be lost or not handled till completion, which won’t be the case with the ticketing system because any of the support representatives can pick up an ongoing ticket.
  Did you try to follow up to check if there were any updates?
  Another possible issue is that sometimes emails can go to junk/spam folder and then it might appear that we have stopped responding.
  We would like to request you or any other customer who had experienced anything like that to reach back to us again.
  We never stop responding until issue has been resolved or unless we don’t hear back for a few days after our last response.
  
  With other plugins you just click one button and the transaction is DONE so I have no idea why all these extra steps are required.
  Our plugin offers a lot of flexibility and you can choose any number of steps you wish to take, all the way to just a single click of a button.

You are absolutely right that our plugin is almost too flexible and allows to control a lot of advanced settings which might be overwhelming when you see them for the first time. We appreciate your feedback and would like to assure you that we will work on hiding advanced settings by default, so it will be easier to digest.
  
  So if you want a Woocommerce shipping plugin that works, (except for Fedex) this is it.
  They way plugin works is that that is simply sends your parcel details to EasyPost API and then displays what it has returned.
  There are only a few cases when any of the carriers might not return rates, which are:
  1. Carrier (FedEx) is not properly connected to EasyPost. We know that FedEx requires billing address to match before it will work.
  2. You have Parcels of the special type defined (like some USPS prepaid box) and it has been picked by a plugin for the given items. In this case EasyPost won’t return any rates other than for that this type of the parcel qualifies for.
  3. You have Services rules (in the settings of the plugin) defined that filter out some of the services.

I get to be first. Awesome. I wanted everyone to know we have been using this plugin for EasyPost shipping in Woocommerce the current version 4.5.2 and Wp version 5.5.1. It works really well. We found support to be very responsive. Answers within a few hours of the support request. We even pointed out some suggestions to make the plugin better. All requests were handled and provided in a timely manner. A+ all around.
