What do you need to start?
1. Install and activate WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace
2. Install, activate and configure any of 1TeamSoftware shipping plugins that feature creation of shipping labels
3. Install and activate Shipping Labels for WCFM PRO plugin
4. Enter your license key and choose shipping plugin you want to use for this integration
That is it! Now your vendors can navigate to their orders and create shipping labels.
How vendor can print a shipping label
1. Vendor will choose an order that has to be shipped and hit Add Shipment on the right side of the order details
2. Vendor will fill in shipments details, such as weight, dimensions, package type and hit Get a Quote / Purchase button
3. After purchasing a label, vendor will be presented with a link to a Shipping Label and tracking information
At this point customer will receive email notification and vendor can proceed with shipping this order.
Vendor’s printing of shipping labels without shipping carrier account
Vendors are able to access printing of shipping labels feature even without registering for their own shipping carrier account.
In this case sitewide integration settings of the shipping plugin will be used for vendors and shipping cost of the vendors’ orders will be kept by the marketplace to cover costs of purchased shipping labels.
Enable Sitewide Shipping Settings in the plugin’s settings page
In this setup Shipping Labels for WCFM plugin will keep shipping cost, which, in terms of the behaviour, is the equivalent of unchecking Shipping cost goes to vendor option:
but it will only be applied dynamically to the vendors that are taking advantage of such setup.
Then orders that were placed after marketplace started to use Shipping Labels for WCFM plugin in such setup will be eligible for printing shipping labels and have Shipment box available in them.
You will be able to see that such orders won’t transfer shipping cost to a vendor and their Subtotal will be the same as Gross Total:
Orders that were placed before such setup was activated or when vendor has briefly enabled their own integration settings, but then disabled them, won’t qualify for printing shipping label and won’t have Shipment box displayed in them.
You will be able to see that such orders have Gross total equal to Subtotal + Shipping:
That’s it, after that vendors will be able to print shipping labels using sitewide carrier account.
Vendor’s printing of shipping labels with shipping carrier account
Vendors are able to specify their own integration (API) settings for a shipping carrier used by Marketplace for live shipping rates in the cart/checkout pages and printing of shipping labels.
2. Vendor should enable Use My Integration Settings
Vendors will be able to access extra Settings page where they can enable / disable live shipping rates as well as to setup own shipping carrier settings.
That’s it, after that vendors will be able to print shipping labels using their own carrier account.

I have tested several plugins for shipping services and I find 1Team software’s plugins to be the best solution for a multi vendor site. These plugins provide all the services that vendors need for doing real time shipping calculations based on vendor address, purchasing and printing labels and tracking. The best part is that the vendor is not required to create an account with Shippo or any other similar service to get discounted rates. Normally these 3rd party services require that the vendor generate an API key and do all these additional steps in configuration for their store, which is just a hassle, and will certainly generate support tickets. Once configured by the admin, it works seamlessly, as provides vendors with a similar experience as purchasing labels from Amazon or Ebay. In my own case, I am using WCFM marketplace, and I find it integrates well with this plugin. From a support perspective, I found 1Team to be very responsive. Their documentation could use some more detail, but it’s probably good enough for someone who has worked with Woocommerce and shipping previously. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.
